(9/29) Midterm exam 1 will be in class on Friday, October 13. The exam will include questions related to the materials covered in class up to Wednesday, October 11, and in Homeworks 1-5. You are allowed to use one page of one sheet (letter size) of notes. A solved midterm exam example has posted on the Calendar page (October 11 entry).
(9/29) Quiz 2 will be in class on Monday, October 2. The Quiz will include a question related to the DC and small-signal analysis of CMOS transistor circuits covered in class up to Friday, September 29 and in Homeworks 1-3. The Quiz is closed-notes, closed-book, 15 minutes.

(8/26) For the first several lectures good textbook references are: [Gray] Sections 6.1 and 6.2, and [Sedra] Chapter 2. In general, textbook references, notes, additional materials, assignments, etc. will be posted on the Calendar page, so check frequently
(8/26) In the class you will be required to use OrCAD schematic capture and PSpice simulator, which are available on the computers in the Circuits lab (ECEE 281) and the Power electronics lab (ECEE 1B65). You need to: (1) have an account open for the ECE labs, and (2) be able to open the lab doors using your Buff OneCard. To gain the lab door entry you need a Buff OneCard. Do one of the following: (a) write your name and the card number on the sign-up sheet in the class on Monday, August 28 or Wednesday, August 30, or (b) go to the main ECE office, pick up a key form from the front desk, fill in the form and ask me to sign the form, then bring it back to the ECE main office.
