Course Description:

We will be covering Chapter 8 Plane Waves, Chapter 9 Transmission Lines, Appendix A Smith Charts, Chapter 10 Wave Guides, and Chapter 11 Antennas.  There will be a test on each section.  In addition there will be weekly quizzes directly relevant to the work we just covered (I will tell you exactly what to study for the quiz).  Homework will be assigned and eventually the answers provided.  It will not be graded except for checking to see that you have done it.  It will be relevant to the tests.  Tests will have 1 page of notes available - no photocopy or pasting - all hand written. Calculators will be allowed for the most part.  I will be expecting that you read email daily.
