Projector hookup

The VGA, USB, and mini-stereo connetors provide all the links required to connect a laptop c omputer to the projector.
Cables are available at the ECE Front Desk.
The USB connection will allow you to use the Epson Remote as a mouse device on your laptop. If you do not need this functionality, then you do not need to use the USB connection.
The Composite Video, Left RCA Audio, and Right RCA Audio connections provide basic AV connec tions from a VCR or DVD player.
Projector controls On the wall to the left of the blackboard is the pixie controller. This allows you to contro l the projector without the remote.
To turn ON: Press power button (top).
You will hear a small beep. It will take approx. 30 seconds for the projector light to turn on.
To turn OFF: Press the power button TWICE.
To select SOURCE: Pressing the VIDEO button will select the COMPOSITE video source and RCA audio source (bottom three connectors on hookup panel).
Pressing the COMP button will select the VGA source and mini-stereo audio source.
Use the VOLUME buttons to adjust the volume of either audio source.
Zoom and Focus The projector should be set to fill the screen and to be in focus.
If this is not the case, you must adjust the zoom and focus manually on the projector.
The outer ring on the projector lens adjusts the focus and the inner ring adjusts the zoom.
