Financial Aid Information

A number of endowed scholarships have been established by former ECE faculty and alumni for students in this department. Our students are also eligible for many other scholarships offered by the College of Engineering. Application for and awarding of these scholarships are handled by the College of Engineering. Guidelines and applications may be found on the College's scholarship page. Scholarships are awarded to new freshmen automatically based on student qualifications. After the sophomore year, students generally must apply for scholarships.

General information for various forms of financial aid available to all students on the Boulder campus may be found at the Office of Financial Aid website.

A pdf file providing additional information about campus financial aid and scholarships may be found here.

New for 2005-2006:

All in-state undergraduate students will be eligible for vouchers which are applied to tuition bills through the College Opportunity Fund (COF). The program goes into effect starting in Fall 2005. Eligible undergraduates must apply for the voucher program the first time and then must authorize its use every semester thereafter. The funds are applied directly against the student's tuition bill. Although recipients must be Colorado residents classified as undergraduates, there are no age or income restrictions. For more information, including the link to the online application form, see the COF web site above.
