The Engineering Excellence Fund committee was established to allocate funds received as a result of the course fee assessed for each College of Engineering course taken. The committee membership consists of six undergraduate students, each from a different academic department, three graduate students, also chosen from different departments, and three faculty and/or staff members as advisers. Approximately half of the course fee revenue is used to support the Integrated Teaching Laboratory operations and about 40% is designated for use in funding proposals from Engineering faculty and students to improve undergradaute and gradaute education in the College of Engineering.

The ECE Department has received several major EEF awards which have supported the improvement of our laboratory spaces and existing courses as well as development of new courses.
